Mobile App Privacy Policy

This policy explains what our mobile app for security staff collects from you, why, and what happens to it. It covers the app only. The app is provided to you by your employer, Gibraltar Security Consultants LLC, to record your work.
Accounts are issued by your employer
You cannot sign up for the app yourself. Your employer creates your account and gives you your credentials. If you want your account closed or your details corrected, ask your employer — they control the records, and we act on their instructions.
What the app collects
Your identity and contact details
Your name, home address, telephone number, email address and username. You may also be asked for details specific to your role, such as peace officer information.
Your Social Security number
If your employer requires it for payroll and employment records, the app lets you enter your Social Security number. It is encrypted before it is stored and is never shown back to you in full or displayed in any list. It is used for payroll and employment administration only. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared except where the law requires it or your employer’s payroll obligations demand it.
Your location
When you clock in, clock out, or scan a checkpoint, the app records your position at that moment — latitude, longitude and an accuracy figure — to confirm you were at your assigned site.
The app does not track you. Location is read only at the instant you tap one of those buttons, and only while the app is open on screen. It does not run in the background, it does not follow you between those moments, and it records nothing when you are off shift or the app is closed. You can refuse the location permission; some features will then be unavailable, but the app will not read your position by other means.
Camera and photographs
The camera is used to scan the codes posted at checkpoints, and to take photographs you choose to attach to an incident report or an onboarding document. You may also attach photos from your library. Nothing is captured without you tapping to take or choose it, and the app does not browse your photo library.
Emergency contacts
If you add emergency contacts, the app stores the name, relationship and telephone number you enter. Please tell those people you have given us their details.
Your work records
Attendance and shift times, your schedule and duties, leave requests, incident reports you file, checkpoint scans, alertness check responses, and onboarding forms and documents.
What the app does not do
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No analytics, tracking or crash reporting services. The app contains no third-party tracking code of any kind.
- No selling or renting of your information to anyone, ever.
- No background location, and no location history.
- No reading of your contacts, messages, call history, or other apps.
Who can see your information
Your employer, Gibraltar Security Consultants LLC, and the staff they authorise. Your records are kept separate from those of every other company using the platform.
Beyond Vision, which builds and maintains the software, may access data only as needed to operate and support the service for your employer.
We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How it is protected
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Sensitive fields, including your Social Security number, are encrypted where they are stored. Your login session is held in your device’s secure storage. Access is restricted to those who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
How long it is kept
Employment and payroll records are retained for as long as your employer’s legal and business obligations require, which usually continues for a period after your employment ends. Your employer sets those periods.
Your choices
You can refuse or withdraw the location, camera and photo permissions at any time in your device settings. Features that depend on them will stop working, and the rest of the app will continue to function.
To see, correct or delete your personal information, contact your employer. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law, including the right to request a copy of your information.
Children
This is a workplace application for employed adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
